Mediation is a consensual way of solving conflicts whereby a third party, a Mediator, helps those involved to seek viable solutions for conflict(s). The Mediator is a qualified facilitator, who will conduct the procedure so as to collaborate with the Parties in conflict in the search for a possible solution.
The mediation procedure is quite flexible and informal, carried out in strictest confidence, to which the Parties freely and spontaneously adhere.
